GOP Source: Narcissist Trump Betrayed MAGA

Speaking on condition of anonymity, an NJ Republican source described as simply odious the betrayal by Donald Trump of conservative principles.

The source cited the following as the key factors for why he bailed on Trump:

The Epstein Files.

The War in Iran.

The self-enrichment.

The narcissism.

Of the four, the source - once a proud MAGA hat wearer - lingered on the last, identifying the main reason why he can't trust the President to prioritize the agenda he promised when Trump ran in 2024.

Narcissism.

Trump puts himself over the country, the source said gloomily.

Asked about the status of U.S. Rep. Tom Kean, Jr., (R-7), who's gone missing, the source said the party will likely be unable to adequately man the district with a credible candidate.

Not this year.

No one wants to run, given the temper of the times for Trump's version of the GOP, the source said. Wishing Kean the best, the source also said it be difficult at this point for Kean to run. Notwithstanding his $3.4 million in the bank, the congressman's inability to explain his extended leave as Rebecca Bennett stampedes, has left the party even more in the lurch. Without having spoken to Kean and lacking any specific word about his condition, the source said he would understand the congressman not going now, for the same reason he can't see anyone else of any substance running for the GOP.

"Trump's just too toxic," the source groaned.
