TRENTON – Today, Governor Sherrill signed the following bills into law:
S-497/A-4620 (Henry/Clifton, Sauickie) - Designates portion of State Highway Route 35 in Laurence Harbor as "James Francisco and Walter Schmidt Memorial Roadway."
S-3463/A-4790 (Johnson, Bucco/Freiman, Schnall, DePhillips) - Makes certain changes to regulation of health care service firms.
S-4404/A-5295 (Gopal/Peterpaul) - Makes various revisions to the laws governing alcoholic beverage licensing.
A-1552/S-205 (Calabrese, Carter, Inganamort/Diegnan, Mukherji) - Revises penalties for certain violations of limousine laws.
A-2132/S-3786 (Carter, Reynolds-Jackson, Calabrese/McKnight, Corrado) - Requires paratransit vehicle operators to announce stops for passengers.
A-4075/S-3985 (Stanley, Murphy, Donlon/Vitale, Turner) - Authorizes DOH to establish partnerships in international public health.
A-4375/S-3740 (Calabrese, Carter/Diegnan, Mukherji) - Specifies electric vehicle parking space calculation is rounded up if it includes fraction of a whole number and rounded-up parking spaces cannot reduce overall parking supply by more than 10 percent.
A-4947/S-4219 (Hutchison, Miller, Inganamort/Lagana, Amato) - Revises continuing education requirements for real estate licensees and regulation of certain real estate continuing education providers, instructors, and courses.
A-5154/S-4417 (Park, Rowan, Karabinchak/Stack, Turner) - Requires jury, rather than court, to determine whether certain defendants are persistent offenders.
A-5169/S-4331 (Lopez, Brennan, Quijano/Singleton, Wimberly) - Authorizes HMFA to make certain reimbursements to support pre-purchase homebuyer counseling under Foreclosure Mediation Assistance Program.
