House of Hearts Network Announces Leadership Team and Board Appointments

New Jersey – The House of Hearts Network announced several key leadership appointments, including

the appointment of Johanna Garcia to its Board of Trustees.
Jay Geldziler has been appointed Director of Operations, bringing extensive political and organizational
experience after previously serving as North Jersey Political Director for Victory 2024.

Susan Berube has been appointed Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications & Outreach, where she will
lead the Foundation's communications strategy and community engagement efforts.

Jansel Fuentes has been named Chief of Staff. Fuentes previously served as Chief of Staff to Mayor
Adrian Mapp during his congressional campaign and as Assistant Director and a Member of the Board of
Angels for Action, Inc., bringing a wealth of experience in both public service and nonprofit leadership.

The Foundation also announced the appointment of Johanna Garcia to the Board of Trustees, marking a historic milestone as the Board reaches its full authorized membership for the first time. Also having announced Mona Miles who will succeed Brayden Karpinski on the Board as he transitions into an advisory role.

President and Founder Jeremiah La'Porte said the appointments reflect the type of leadership the
Foundation is committed to cultivating.

"Jay, Susan, and Jansel are dedicated, educated public servants who believe in the power of service," said La'Porte.

"Our team reflects a simple but powerful message: we are not waiting for someone to tell us we can lead—we are building our futures now. Together, they will help create more opportunities for the next generation. "

Executive Director Adrian Ghainda praised the appointments, calling them another important step in the
Foundation's continued growth.

"These appointments reflect a strengthening commitment to expanding our programming and resources
across New Jersey," said Ghainda.

"This is an incredible team built to serve, and I'm excited to continue this work alongside them as we expand opportunities and get into some good trouble for youth across our state."
