Florham Park, NJ - Schenck, Price, Smith & King LLP is pleased to announce Joseph M. Freda has joined the Firm as Counsel in the Health Care Law Practice Group.

Joseph will concentrate his practice on medical malpractice and professional liability. He brings 20+ years of litigation experience throughout New Jersey, and has been active in Morris, Somerset, Bergen, Union, Essex, and Middlesex, counties.

Joe is a committed member of the New Jersey legal community and maintains membership in the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Middlesex County Bar Association.

In addition to his legal practice, Joe is actively involved in supporting charitable organizations throughout the Morris County community. He is dedicated to advancing causes that benefit women’s health, veterans, and military families including Barbells for Boobs, the Seven Stars Foundation, Inc., and the Yellow Ribbon Fund’s TUF Campaign. Through these efforts, Joe helps promote early breast cancer detection, supports healing opportunities for the children of fallen and wounded service members, and advocates for programs that encourage wounded veterans to improve their physical and mental well-being through fitness.

Joseph has also been recognized for Super Lawyers (2026) and Rising Stars (2012).

According to John E. Ursin, Esq., Managing Partner, the firm is very happy to have Joe join us. Joe is a seasoned litigator with a great reputation. He will apply his skills as part of the Medical Malpractice Defense Group working to protect the interests of physicians and other medical professionals. These are important and complex cases. Joseph earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and received a B.S., in Biopsychology from the University of Maryland.
