STATEMENT FROM HUDSON COUNTY EXECUTIVE CRAIG GUY ON THE PASSING OF FORMER CONGRESSMAN FRANK J. GUARINI 

 

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Today, Hudson County Executive Craig Guy released the following statement: 

“As a lifelong resident of Jersey City, I had the personal and professional privilege of meeting former Congressman Frank J. Guarini on several occasions. He was a true fighter for his district and a dedicated public servant who led with conviction, integrity, and purpose.

Having known his family and friends, it has always been clear how deeply he was respected – not only for his long record of public service, but for the genuine care he showed for the people and communities he represented. 

Former Congressman Guarini remained closely connected to Jersey City and Hudson County throughout his life. His commitment to service and his enduring contributions to our community and beyond will be felt for generations to come. 

On behalf of Hudson County, I extend my deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, and all who had the honor of knowing and working with him.” 

Until further notice, the County Executive has ordered all flags on Hudson County property to be flown at half-staff to commemorate the life and service of former Congressman Frank J. Guarini.
