PRINCETON, NJ, April 23, 2026 – Stevens & Lee announced today that Edward J. Mount has joined Stevens & Lee Public Affairs and will serve as Senior Advisor.

“Ed has been a respected leader in New Jersey government and brings a practical understanding of how policy, technology and procurement intersect,” said Anthony J. “Skip” Cimino, Senior Managing Director of Stevens & Lee Public Affairs. “His experience on both sides of government and industry will be valuable to clients seeking to engage effectively in the Garden State.”

Mr. Mount joins Stevens & Lee Public Affairs following a career spanning more than 30 years in New Jersey state government and subsequent public advisory work with technology companies. He has been closely involved in the evolution of New Jersey’s information technology infrastructure and has advised organizations ranging from national technology companies to regional and local businesses on strategies for doing business with the state government.

In his role, Mr. Mount will assist clients in navigating New Jersey’s legislative, executive and procurement processes, focused on aligning business objectives with policy and budget priorities. His experience includes supporting clients in developing and advancing procurement initiatives, legislative strategies and long-term engagement plans with state and local stakeholders.

During his tenure in public service, Mr. Mount held senior leadership roles, including gubernatorial appointments as Assistant State Treasurer and Assistant Commissioner in the Department of Labor and Workforce Development. He also served on several key technology and governance bodies, including the New Jersey Information Resources Management Commission, the Office of Information Technology Governing Board and the New Jersey Information Technology Leadership Team, where he contributed to initiatives aimed at modernizing state operations and service delivery.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Mount served as Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bordentown Township. He is also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He earned his B.S. from Lemoyne College.
