Election Result Update: We are proud to announce that as of this morning, our union brother Charles Hassler (IBEW Local 94) won his election for Salem County Commissioner. To date, our Labor Candidates' Program has resulted in the election of 1,396 union members to office who have gone on to pass pro-worker legislation at every level of government, and protect our fundamental rights as union members, resulting in equality for all working people, and a raised standard of living. Their continued contributions demonstrate the importance of our Labor Candidates Program. With each labor candidate victory, we are ensuring that generations of union members to come will continue to exercise the freedoms that members of our movement have fought and died for. Together, we will continue to build a stronger labor movement.

Thank you again to everyone who was with us every step of the way in this election. We are truly grateful for the efforts of our union volunteers, our Central Labor Council Presidents, Building Trades Councils, our affiliates, and our community partners. We thank you for putting in the work each week to reach out to your members and organize text banks and labor walks. Your efforts resulted in one of the most successful elections for our New Jersey labor movement. Thanks to your unwavering dedication and commitment, our labor movement is stronger and more unified than ever. When we come together, there is no limit to what we can accomplish not only within our own state, but across the nation.
