Small Not Going Down Without a Fight in Atlantic City Mayor’s Race
Defeated by mail-in ballots last Tuesday night, Atlantic City Councilman Marty Small today filed a petition in Superior Court for a recount and recheck of all votes cast in the Democratic Primary for Atlantic City Mayor.
“I’m challenging the ballots,” Small told InsiderNJ. “To get outspent 4-1, to get trashed by a PAC and have people run away and still beat the establishment at the polls and to lose on the ballots – not sitting well.”
Small beat fellow Councilman Frank Gilliam by 100 votes on the machines but lost the mail-in count by 385 votes.
