Soliman: ‘All Things Strongly Indicate Menendez Running for Reelection’

In the aftermath of Judge William Walls declaring a hung jury, Menendez Spokesman Mike Soliman issued a statement concerning the Senior Senator’s intentions regarding 2018, when he’s due up for reelection.

“If you take a look at Senator Menendez’s fundraising activities and active schedule fighting for New Jersey over the past 2 and half years — and despite this trial over these past 9 weeks —  all things strongly indicate that Senator Menendez is running for re-election next year,” Soliman said. “Should that be his final decision, his political operation is ready and strong and will run a winning campaign. Expect an announcement from the Senator in the coming weeks.”
