A source with an intricate understanding of the political dynamics of LD15 broke down the terrain  as forces mobilize.

“My thinking,” the source said, “is that if the Hopewell Valley gets behind one candidate – [Anthony] Verrelli – he can swing the Greg Puliti faction in Lawrence, which also brings the support of Pat Colavita.”

Verrelli will have the Northeast Council of Carpenters with him as a starting hefty argument.

“If they can convince [Lawrence Councilman Chris] Bobbitt to sit this one out, and Hopewell, Hopewell Borough, Pennington and Lawrence back Verrelli, Bob Dorio may have to go with them and force Trenton in a corner.

“Bob will let Lucy [Walter] do her thing, but Sarah’s [Steward] his pick,” the source added.
