At Toms River Town Hall, Hugin Says He’d be Inclined to Support Kavanaugh

Bob Hugin said Thursday night that if he were in the Senate now, he’d be inclined to support Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, providing there’s no “troubling” information in a FBI report.

Speaking after a veterans’ town hall meeting in Toms River, Hugin said the FBI report should be made public.

While not privy to the report, Hugin said he would vote to confirm Kavanaugh, who is battling sexual abuse allegations, as things now stand.

But regarding the report, he said, “if I heard something that troubled me, I would reconsider.”

Hugin’s opponent, incumbent Bob Menendez, opposes Kavanaugh.

  1. Let’s cast the serious, credible sexual assault allegations aside. Do Kavanaugh’s constant lies about his tenure as a Bush aide and his conspiracy mongering in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee trouble you, Mr. Hugin?
