Tonio Burgos Resigns from the DNC
Twenty-year-plus veteran Democratic National Committee (DNC) Member Tonio Burgos of New Jersey this evening told InsiderNJ that he will not continue to serve as a committeeman.
“Yes, I did resign as an elected member of the DNC from NJ,” Burgos said in a statement. “It was time to do so having served since 2002.”
The founder of Tonio Burgos and Associates, Burgos said he wishes to spend time focusing on his business and his family.
“This will be a great opportunity for a young person to step up,” added the diehard Democrat (pictured above left).
