Trump Tweets Strong Support for Webber in CD-11

Former EPA Regional Administrator Alan J. Steinberg questions whether any member of the NJ GOP will denounce the racism in President Donald Trump's tweet stating that four newly elected Congresswomen should “go back where they came from.”

President Donald J Trump today tweeted his choice for Congress in New Jersey’s 11th District.

Here’s what the President had to say:

“@JayWebberNJ is running for Congress in the 11th District of New Jersey. He is outstanding in every way. Strong on Borders, loves our Military and our Vets. Big Crime fighter. Jay has my Full and Total Endorsement!”

Webber responded with a comment.

“I’m running an optimistic and confident campaign based on lowering taxes, creating jobs, and making sure we have strong but fair immigration laws,” said the Republican candidate for congress. “I’m pleased to have the support of President Trump in pursuit of those objectives, and look forward to working with him in Washington as we fight to make people in North Jersey and across America even more prosperous and free.”
