Holtec International neglected to include critical information in its Grow NJ application, according to Jim Walden, counsel for the Governor’s Task Force on Economic Development Authority (NJEDA) tax incentives.

In his opening statement today, Walden noted that Holtec’s debarment likely would have eliminated the South Jersey-based company from contention for a $60 million award from the incentive program.

“The EDA should have conducted greater diligence,” Walden said.
