Walden Opens up with Questions about Holtec’s Application: ‘The EDA Should Have Conducted Greater Diligence’

Holtec neglected to include critical information in its Grow NJ application, according to the counsel of the Governor’s Task Force on Economic Development Authority (EDA) tax incentives.

In his opening statement today at the War Memorial, Jim Walden noted that Holtec’s debarment likely have eliminated the South Jersey-based company from contention for a $60 million award from the incentive program.

“The EDA should have conducted greater diligence,” Walden said.
