Webber Decries what He Cites as Handiwork of ‘The Angry Left’

Running in the 11th Congressional District, the campaign of Assemblyman Jay Webber (R-26) posted a photo on Facebook that the candidate identifies as the handiwork of the opposition.

Webber has a term for them.

“The angry left is fully unhinged,” said the candidate running against Democrat Mikie Sherrill.

“Just look at what they did to this #WebberForCongress sign on a friend’s lawn. Don’t retaliate! I encourage you to respond by putting up more signs & volunteering for our campaign. Let’s win this the right way & work together to make #NJ11 better for everyone.”

In one of the most-watched contests in the country, Webber and Sherrill are running for a seat that the retiring U.S. Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-11) will vacate at the end of this year.

  1. I seriously doubt that this damage was done by an “unhinged leftist” as Jay Webber asserts. A real leftist would have used a hammer not a box cutter. Seems like a false flag to me.
