With $450K Raised, Wisniewski Qualifies for Matching Funds

Democratic gubernatorial candidate John Wisniewski’s campaign submitted $450,000 in contributions to the New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC) to qualify for public matching funds.

“People from across New Jersey are responding to John Wisniewski’s call to stand up to the party bosses and end transactional politics in Trenton,” said Wisniewski campaign manager Robert Becker. “While we will never have Phil Murphy’s Goldman Sachs millions, from this point forward our campaign’s fundraising efforts will be doubled by the public matching system allowing us to get John’s message out throughout New Jersey.

“John Wisniewski is the only candidate for governor supporting single-payer healthcare and tuition-free college,” Becker added. “We will make this campaign about bold, progressive policies that rebuild New Jersey’s middle class and inspire voters — not a contest about who has the most Wall Street money and party establishment backers.”
