Beck Leads Gopal with $229,644 to $70.9K Cash on Hand

In the 11th Legislative District, Senator Jen Beck (R-11) has raised $433,095 toward her reelection bid and has $229,644.85 cash on hand. Her opponent, Democrat Vin Gopal, has raised $598,700 and closed the period with $70,992 cash on hand.

Donations to Gopal include one by Union County Sheriff Joe Cryan (the Democratic senate candidate in LD20) in the amount of $8,200; one by Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg (D-37) in the amount of $500; $500 from Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle (D-37); $500 from state Senator M. Teresa Ruiz (D-29); and numerous contributions from labor, including the New Jersey Police Benevolent Association.

Donations to Beck include a $5,000 check from the Food Council Committee for Good Government, $1,000 from state Senator Gerald Cardinale (R-39), $1,000 from state Senator Bob Singer (R-30), $2,600 from former CD12 candidate Scott Sipprelle, $1,600 from Warren County GOP Chairman Doug Steinhardt, $500 from former Senator Bill Gormley, and numerous contributions from businesses. Monmouth County GOP Chairman Shaun Golden chipped in $500. Princeton Public Affairs Principal Dale Florio contributed $1,700.
