NEWARK -The candidates scrap on the subject of Guadagno’s proposal to have an elected – not appointed – attorney general.

“What she’s saying is if she’s elected governor she can’t be trusted to pick an AG,” says Ciattarelli, who wants the New Jersey governor to retain the power to appoint the state attorney general.
