Grewal Fires Back at Dennis and Judi
New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal sounded a little bit like Maximus in the movie Gladiator this morning as he weighed in amid the furor over 101.5 FM shock jock hosts Dennis and Judi referring to him as “turban man.”
Cue the Hans Zimmer soundtrack as the emperor’s jaw goes slack.
“My name, for the record, is Gurbir Grewal,” the AG tweeted this morning.
“I’m the 61st Attorney General of NJ. I’m a Sikh American. I have three daughters. And yesterday, I told them to turn off the radio.”
The radio station today suspended the two hosts. This afternoon, the two put out a video apology for the comments.

No surprise. 101.5 has been a bastion of anti-government, anti-minority, sentiment for nearly 30 years.
