New Jersey Backs up President Biden

Immediately after his State of the Union speech, President Joe Biden shook hands with two North Jersey diehards.

First, he received the congratulations of U.S. Rep. Donald Payne, Jr. (D-10) of Newark (above).

Then he shared a moment with U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-9) of Paterson (below).

New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy issued the following statement in response to the President’s speech:

“In tonight’s State of the Union address, President Biden spoke to the highest aspirations of the American people, and shared a vision for the future of our country defined by unity, opportunity, and ambition.

“The President put forward a strong case for his continued leadership, which has delivered the largest infrastructure investment in American history, inspired a resurgence of American competitiveness in manufacturing and innovation, and revitalized the strongest economy in the world. Moreover, throughout his remarks, President Biden’s values and confidence in the American people stood in stark contrast with those who conspire to turn back the clock on women’s rights, neglect our communities, and fuel division and hatred across our nation.

“The agenda President Biden outlined will build a stronger and fairer future for all of America’s families. Under the Biden Administration the state of our union remains strong, hopeful, and forward-looking, and together, we will continue to reignite the American Dream.”

Said U.S. Rep. Mikie Sherrill (D-11):

“We will not back down from defending democracy – at home or abroad.

“Tonight President Biden delivered a strong, optimistic, forward-looking vision for America – fighting to regain the protections in Roe, ensuring a just and secure border, lowering costs for families, and protecting democratic values and our allies. It was a vision that stood in sharp contrast to his predecessor’s, and a vision I share.

“The President laid out a path forward based on what has always defined us as Americans. I will continue to work in the House to ensure we support our allies, defend our freedoms, and make life more affordable for New Jersey families.”

Rep. Sherrill’s guest for this year’s speech was Fran Ehret, the New Jersey State Director for the Communications Workers of America – which represents about 40,000 state workers, 15,000 county and local government workers, and more than 70,000 New Jersey families.

One response to “New Jersey Backs up President Biden”

  1. I guess the Democrats-Communists, like Governor Phil KNUCKLEHEAD Murphy and U.S. Rep. Mikie “The Fraud” Sherrill, in this state are tone deaf. They don’t see or care that the middle class American family can’t afford to pay $1000/month more for groceries and gasoline to put in their cars to go to work. I guess they don’t get the destroying the oil and natural gas industry gives our enemies, the Communist Chinese, Russians, Iranians, and others control over us. I guess they can’t figure out how to control the budget and continue driving us off the financial cliff when one easy solution works: Cut the $500 BILLION/YR. we give to illegal aliens in this country; and cut $500 BILLION/YR. in foreign aid to our enemies, the Communist Chinese, Russians, Iranians, and others, under Biden’s guise of being “competitive” (because Biden needs the Chinese, Russian, Iranian money to keep him in the lifestyle he and his family enjoys).
