Andy Kim Receives New Jersey State Council for Machinists Endorsement
MARLTON, NJ — Today, Andy Kim announced he has been endorsed for reelection by the New Jersey State Council of Machinists.
“Supporting unions means supporting families and workers,” said Andy Kim. “On average union members make 26% more than non-union workers, leading to better lives for New Jersey families. I’m grateful for the New Jersey State Council of Machinists’ endorsement and their work to keep workplaces safe as we roll out major infrastructure investments and start making things here in America. Together we’ll make sure we’re collectively bargaining for good wages, and making sure everyone has the healthcare coverage they need.”
“Our endorsed candidates will ensure our state federation’s continued preeminent role as the voice of working families in New Jersey,” said Secretary-Treasurer Laurel Brennan. “We Look forward to the progress that we will continue to achieve together after a victory in November.”
Andy Kim has also received endorsements for reelection from American Federation of Labor and Congress of Industrial Organizations (AFL–CIO), End Citizens United (ECU) / Let America Vote, Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF), League of Conservation Voters (LCV), VoteVets, Giffords Foundation, Everytown for Gun Safety, Sierra Club, and Teamsters Local 676, Joint Council 53, Brady PAC, AAPI Victory Fund, and New Jersey Fraternal Order of Police (NJFOP), among others.

He continues to have a strong coalition of grassroots support that has been behind him since 2018 and helped him secure two historic victories. Without taking a dime of corporate PAC money, Congressman Kim’s campaign has raised more than $6 million this cycle through grassroots support. Prior to serving in Congress, Congressman Kim worked as a civilian advisor to four-star generals and at the Pentagon, and served under both Republican and Democratic Presidents. He now resides in Moorestown with his wife Kammy and two young sons.
