Beach Statement on Governor Murphy Naming Tahesha Way Lieutenant Governor

Trenton - Senator James Beach, chair of the Senate State Government Committee, issued the following statement on Secretary of State Tahesha Way’s appointment to serve as Lieutenant Governor:

“Tahesha Way is an exemplary public servant and will undoubtedly make an outstanding Lieutenant Governor. We have worked closely throughout the Murphy Administration and she has been a steadfast partner in legislative efforts to improve voter participation and fine-tune our election laws. I look forward to continuing to work together both in her capacity as Secretary of State and in her new role as Lieutenant Governor.”
