Bergen County Young Republicans Call On County Clerk To Resolve Ballot Drop-off Location Issues

RAMSEY, NJ – The Bergen County Young Republicans are today calling on County Clerk John
Hogan and the Bergen County Board of Elections to resolve any issues related to the drop-off
ballot locations across the county for the July 7 primary.

According to the county website, there is supposed to be a drop off box located at “Ramsey – 30
Wyckoff Avenue (Library – in rear of building)”. However, BCYR Chairwoman Katie Cericola
attempted to drop off her ballot at that location and found no box.

A link to her attempt can be found here:

“After seeing nearly 10% of ballots not counted in the all-mail May elections people are
rightfully skeptical,” said Cericola, “it is important that any issues with drop boxes are resolved
immediately.”

The BCYRs would also like to remind everyone to make sure their ballots are returned as soon as
possible to prevent any issues with late arrivals. We also advocate for allowing full in-person
voting in November.
