(TRENTON) – The Assembly Health and Senior Services, Consumer Affairs, Telecommunications and Utilities, Housing and Community Development, Oversight Reform and Federal Relations, and the Assembly Appropriations Committee will meet on Thursday starting at 10:00 AM in the Statehouse Annex, 125 West State Street, Trenton, New Jersey 08608.
Moving forward on legislation to ward against the dangers of vaping following recommendations made by the Vaping Task Force, the Assembly Health and Senior Services Committee will convene Thursday at 10:00 AM in Committee Room 11, 4th Floor. Among the measures for review is a bill banning the sale of flavored electronic smoking devices and legislation revising licensure requirements for vapor businesses and taxes on vape products.
The Assembly Consumer Affairs Committee will consider bills to improve consumer protections and receive testimony on a bill (A-4818), up for discussion only, that would prohibit the sale of cosmetic products tested on animals. The meeting begins at 10:00 AM in Committee Room 13, 4th Floor of the State House Annex.
The Assembly Tourism, Gaming and the Arts Committee will receive testimony from invited guests on improvements made in Atlantic City following challenges and recommendations outlined in a September 2018 report. The panel will convene at 10:00 AM in Committee Room 12, 4th Floor.
The Assembly Telecommunications and Utilities will convene at 10:00 AM in Committee Room 9, 3rd Floor to consider legislation (A-5560), for discussion only, that seeks to streamline regulation and deployment of 5G-network technology across local governments in New Jersey.
