 Governor Murphy Ends State of Emergency Following Hurricane Erin

TRENTON – Governor Murphy today lifted the State of Emergency declared through Executive Order No. 396 on Thursday, August 21, 2025, due to Hurricane Erin’s offshore impacts, including high winds, coastal flooding, high surf, and dangerous rip currents.

With the signing of Executive Order No. 397, the State of Emergency was terminated effective today at 12:00 p.m, Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
