On Track To Be Youngest Member in Board History

[Howell, New Jersey, September 2025] — Lifelong Howell resident Zack Metzger and student of the Freehold Regional High School District has officially launched his campaign to represent Howell on the FRHSD Board of Education under the slogan “Our Students First”.

Zack Metzger was raised and educated in Howell and is familiar with the day-to-day operations of the FRHSD. By combining a student’s perspective with a policymaker’s mindset, Metzger represents a new generation of leadership in this town.

Despite his young age, Metzger is quickly gaining momentum with voters across Howell Township. His message resonated with many at the Howell Day & Green Fair 2025, which he attended to answer questions and connect with local voters.
