Hudson County Young Republicans Debate Watch Party Successful

Hoboken, NJ – NJ GOP State Committeeman Joshua Sotomayor Einstein and the Hudson County Young Republicans held a watch party for the first US Presidential debate on Tuesday September 29th. The debate watch party started at 8pm and featured speakers NJ 9th Congressional District GOP candidate William Prempeh, NJ 10th Congressional District GOP candidate Jennifer Zinone, and Political Director for Jack Ciattarrelli for NJ Governor Brittany Wheeler.

The party, co-sponsored by Pavel Sokolov, a leader in the Hudson County Young Republicans, was held at Kolo Klub, Hoboken’s premier private event space, and was packed to the Covid restriction limit. Sokolov stated, “over 150 people tried to reserve seats for the event; obviously we had to turn most of them away due to state regulations, but the flood of people wanting to attend is demonstrable evidence that there are Republicans in our county thirsty to be involved and for an active GOP presence.”

William “Billy” Prempeh, the 9th Congressional District candidate who has built a grassroots movements from the ground up, stated that “at the GOP event in Hoboken, I saw President Trump focused on results and Biden focused on emotion based arguments and attacks.” He continued, “Biden has sided with Antifa and criminals that want our cities to burn. I support the president and want to see law and order, especially in Paterson the city I am from.”

10th Congressional District candidate, Jennifer Zinone, stated that “it was great to be with so many Republicans and more than a few independents who support the President.” She continued, “whether Biden or my opposition, Donald Payne Jr., these career politicians have no answers for any problem facing our nation. Honestly, it’s a prime example of what motived and continues to motivate me; I and so many people in our nation and state are tired of decades of the do-nothing Democrat “leaders”.”
