LD26 Assembly Candidate Christine Clarke Improves Seniors’ Gardens on World Humanitarian Day
Parsippany, NJ: On World Humanitarian Day, 26th Legislative District State Assembly candidate Christine Clarke’s campaign delivered on a promise to the residents of the Beverwyck House of Merry Heart in Parsippany to spruce up their outdoor garden space.
“This year, the United Nations is focusing its World Humanitarian Day recognitions on women humanitarians, people who have risked their lives to save or to improve the lives of others,” Clarke noted. “Locally, we have so many unsung heroes in our communities who go to lengths to make people’s lives better, like our home healthcare nurses in senior living facilities such as Merry Heart. It was our campaign’s honor and privilege to say thank you by sprucing up the outdoor gardens. May we all remember the women who came before us and blazed trails so we may succeed, and also be mindful to thank women around us who work to improve others’ lives today.”
