Jersey City, NJ - Jim McGreevey’s campaign is being fueled by some of Donald Trump’s biggest donors.
Jim McGreevey also hired Donald Trump’s “most trusted pollster.”
So when asked about it on PIX 11 news, he embarrassedly stumbled through a non-answer – and once again refused to condemn Trump, saying:
“We send out solicitations, and whoever contributes, I say thank you. I don’t look to their background and I don’t look to their voting history.”
What???
In reaction, Jersey City Mayoral candidate James Solomon said: “Jim McGreevey has no credible answer for why he’s funded by the same billionaires as Donald Trump. Vote for a mayor who fights this authoritarian administration, not one who views it as a fundraising opportunity.”
