New Poll Shows Mikie with a Resilient Lead in Race for New Jersey Governor

Jack’s allegiance to Trump and support of tax increases is breaking through

Mikie’s campaign has raised over $7.35 million

BLOOMFIELD — new poll shows Mikie Sherrill continuing to lead the way in the race for New Jersey governor, as she holds a seven-point lead with 50% of the vote.

“New Jerseyans are excited by Mikie’s bold leadership and vision to chart a different path forward for New Jersey, and it’s evident in the momentum we’re seeing across the state. In contrast, Garden State voters know the truth about Jack Ciattarelli, who has pledged loyalty to Trump even when it hurts our families, and they will reject him for a third time this November,” said Mikie Sherrill for Governor Communications Director Sean Higgins.

To date, the campaign has raised over $7.35 million securing contributions from all 21 counties, putting her more than $1 million over the requirement for matching funds.

Since the June 10 primary, Team Mikie has contacted over 3.1 million voters, made over 1.2 million phone calls, and knocked over 285,000 doors.

Voters are responding to Mikie’s record of service and plan to drive down costs. During the week that the poll was in the field, Jack and allied organizations spent twice the amount of money attacking Mikie as she spent outlining her vision, but voters aren’t buying it. New Jersey voters are quick to report that Jack is “too close to Trump” and “a puppet of party leaders,” concerned that Jack “would raise taxes” because he “supports a 10% sales tax.”
