NJ POLICEMEN’S BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION ENDORSES RUSSO FOR SOMERSET COUNTY SHERIFF

Calls 30-Year Police Veteran “Eminently Qualified to Serve”

[North Plainfield, NJ] – The New Jersey State Policemen’s Benevolent Association (PBA) endorsed Darrin Russo for Somerset County Sheriff. The backing follows the unanimous endorsement of the Middlesex and Somerset County PBA, which includes the officers who report to the North Plainfield Chief of Police, who is opposing Russo.

“I am honored to accept the endorsement of the NJ PBA for Somerset County Sheriff,” said Darrin Russo, who retired as a Lieutenant in the Franklin Police Department after 30 years. “Their law enforcement members take Sheriff’s races very seriously, and never endorse without a lot of thought and consideration. That they chose to support my campaign is humbling.”
