NJDSC Chairman Jones: Tonight Jack Leveled “Baseless Attacks,” Mikie Laid Out “Plans to End the Utility Rate Hikes and Cut Costs”

TRENTON, NJ – New Jersey Democratic State Committee Chairman LeRoy J. Jones, Jr. released the following statement: 

“With less than 30 days to go until we elect Mikie Sherrill our next governor, New Jerseyans saw a clear contrast on the debate stage tonight – between Mikie’s plans to end the utility rate hikes and cut costs, and Jack Ciattarelli’s baseless attacks and total fealty to Donald Trump.

“The stakes are high on November 4th. We have the opportunity to move this state forward by putting regular people and working families first, and Mikie’s got bold plans for doing just that. Jack, on the other hand, demonstrated tonight what he has at every turn throughout this campaign: That he’s running to represent a constituency of one, the president he chartered a $9,000 helicopter to bow before at Bedminster.
