NJ's Senate Democratic Office responded to comments by Gov. Phil Murphy regarding cuts to the County College Opportunity Grant Program in the 2020 budget, saying that the claim is not supported by the facts.

Senate Reorganization for New Legislative Session

 

TRENTON – The Senate will hold its official Reorganization to initiate the new 2020-2021 Legislative Session at 12 noon on Tuesday, January 14th in the Senate Chambers of the New Jersey Statehouse in Trenton.

 

All the senators will take the oath of office, including Senate President Steve Sweeney, who will become the longest serving Senate President in New Jersey history after being elected by his Senate colleagues for his sixth term as leader of the Senate.

 

Senator Sweeney will address the Senate at the Reorganization, speaking about policy priorities for the new session.
