Jim McGreevey Silent as Trump Attacks New Jersey’s Economy 

Jersey City, NJ - Yesterday, Donald Trump attacked New Jersey’s economy.

First, he put on hold the Gateway Tunnel Project, hurting workers and New Jersey’s economic future.

Then he canceled green energy projects in a number of states– including New Jersey.

James Solomon spoke up, saying: "Donald Trump and his MAGA allies are attacking New Jersey's economy, our workers and our economic future. As mayor, I'll stand up to him. All we will get from Jim McGreevey is more silence."

Jim McGreevey? He was silent once again. 

Just like he didn’t have an answer when he was called out for MAGA donations.

Just like he didn’t say a bad word about Trump in his op–ed.

And just like he didn’t have a bad word to say about him in the debate.

In reaction, James Solomon issued the following statement: “Jim McGreevey’s silence in the face of Donald Trump’s attacks on New Jersey is shocking but not unexpected since he’s taken tons of money from his donors and hired his favorite pollster. Jersey City deserves better than someone who is in the pocket of Donald Trump as mayor. As Mayor, Jersey City can count on me to build a more affordable city and stand up to Donald Trump.”
