Somerset County Conducting Online Auction May 12-19

Somerset County Commissioner Deputy Director Sara Sooy, purchasing liaison, invites residents to take advantage of the upcoming online auction of surplus property.  The auction will start at 9 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, and will begin to close at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 19.

The eclectic mix of items to be sold includes cars, pickups, buses, dump trucks and other vehicles, lawn and garden equipment,  snow plows, automotive parts, office equipment and more.

A list of auction items, along with terms and conditions of sale, is available at http://bit.ly/AuctionSpring2021.  Photos of items are expected to be posted on the GovDeals website at www.govdeals.com/somersetcounty by Wednesday, May 12.

Inspection is strongly recommended. Items may be inspected Friday, May 14, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and SaturdayMay 15, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the South County Public Works Facility, located at 410 Roycefield Road, Hillsborough, NJ 08844.

All property will be sold as-is, where-is. There is a buyer’s premium of 10%; however, there are no registration fees charged by the auction company. Visit www.govdeals.com for details.

Payment is due within 24 hours of notification.  Items purchased must be removed by 2 p.m. on June 11. The buyer is responsible for all loading and transporting of property.
