Cherry Hill Democratic Committee is appalled by Chairman Jim Beach’s recent letter that publicly shames Norcross machine connected democrats, their spouses, and adult children for not casting a vote in the June 2026 primary. Beach’s letter demonstrates his bullying and threatening leadership style, which frankly is another example of Trump’s leadership style of intimidation and shake-downs. In this 250th year of our republic, this is NOT what our democracy should be. As our democracy is threatened every day by the Trump administration, we demand better from DEMOCRATS in New Jersey.

As progressive democrats who believe in actual representative democracy, we will never shame and shake down voters. We believe that competitive elections are healthy for our democracy and that our democracy is actually strengthened by the competition.
