College Democrats of New Jersey and New Jersey College Republicans Launch Bipartisan “NJ College Civility Tour”

A statewide dialogue series will bring students together across political differences to strengthen civic engagement and respectful discourse on college campuses.
Trenton, NJ - The College Democrats of New Jersey (CDNJ) and the New Jersey College Republicans (NJCR) are proud to announce the launch of the NJ College Civility Tour, a campus dialogue series set to begin this fall.
The initiative will be headlined by student leaders from both organizations, Andrew LoMonte, Vice President of the College Democrats of New Jersey, and John Rendzia III, Chairman Emeritus of the New Jersey College Republicans, as they visit colleges and universities across the state to foster meaningful conversations about politics, public service, and civic engagement.
At a time when political polarization continues to dominate national discourse, the NJ College Civility Tour aims to demonstrate that disagreement does not have to mean division. Students will have the opportunity to engage with differing viewpoints in a respectful and constructive environment.
The tour will visit campuses throughout New Jersey and focus on issues including civic participation, political engagement, leadership, public policy, and the importance of maintaining democratic norms in an increasingly polarized era.
By bringing together student leaders from across the political spectrum, the NJ College Civility Tour seeks to encourage thoughtful discussion, promote mutual understanding, and inspire students to become active participants in public life.
Additional tour dates, participating campuses, and event details will be announced in the coming months.
