Former West New York Mayor Felix Roque today missed the expiration date to file a challenge to the results of his May nonpartisan loss.

His missing the deadline was noteworthy only because Roque had predicted on Election Day that he would win 3-1.

After Mayor Gabe Rodriguez beat him, Roque then claimed something was wrong because the results didn’t conform to his polling and exit polling.

He said then that he would challenge the election, then withdrew his challenge.

Today, he formally let the deadline pass.
