Robinson: 'Most of the Candidates are One and Two Issue Candidates'

SOMERSET - Shanel Robinson of Franklin Twp., director of the Somerset County Commission, stood in front of a community healthcare center this morning to make a point about good government as she contends with others in the CD-12 Democratic Primary who have not delivered actual results.
"Most of the candidates are one and two issue candidates as we see an influx of AIPAC and pro-Palestinian PACs," Robinson told InsiderNJ. "People are starving. People can't pay for their prescriptions or keep a roof over their heads. This is about good governance."
Not seizing hold of one issue to represent one constituency.
The Commissioner Director lamented what she described as "another candidate's pilfering of a line she said she used first at a debate forum: "Healthcare, not bombs."
"That was a tag line I used," she noted. "Others are telling a story with misleading facts, and I am imploring the voters to look at the candidates."
She wants people to look beyond fears and emotions to someone with experience who can restore constitutional order, while addressing people's affordability needs.
"We are 18 days away from the primary," Robinson said. "All of the candidates in the race all fundamentally agree on the need for universal healthcare for all and a public option. But this healthcare center to serve the most vulnerable - that is a testament to the work we have already been doing. Other candidates are promising. I've governed."
Donald Trump didn't have any experience before landing the presidency in 2016.
"This is a lawless president who had never held office, and what we're seeing is no good governance and no good policies," Robinson said. "We are all feeling the wrath of his decision-making."
